Bath lubricants - unsurpassed sewing performance
Today, bath lubricants are state of the art. Until today the quality of bath-finished sewing threads is unsurpassed compared with final winding applications. The superiority of bath applications is due to the fact that the composition of non-aqueous final winding products makes their silicone-wax ratio much less variable than that of bath lubricants.
Due to the actual incompatibility of silicone and waxes, the portion of wax that can be added to the product is only limited. Higher wax portions lead to highly viscous products that can no longer be processed. In addition, antistatic agents are only difficult to incorporate.
Bath products are aqueous, exhaustable emulsions, which, as far as their composition and the possibility of including additives is concerned, can be highly variable and thus offer optimum sewing performance.
The SIL-WAX two-component system - undreamt-of possibilities for bath lubricants
RUDOLF has succeeded in developing a silicone and wax emulsion with identical exhaust behaviour on all common fibres or fibre blends. This is the prerequisite for the flexible two-component system, which enables the production of individually adapted bath lubricants. The desired ratio of silicone and wax can be adjusted by simply mixing RUCO-FIL SIL and RUCO-FIL WAX.
